About Atolla Swim
Hello! I’m Aimee, the founder of Atolla Swim.
Atolla began after more than a decade working in fuller‑bust and specialist sizing. Since 2012, I’ve spent my career fitting real women, listening to their frustrations, and seeing firsthand how often DD+ customers were overlooked. When I moved into fuller‑bust swimwear in 2020, the gap became impossible to ignore. Women were constantly being asked to choose: support or style. Function or confidence. Practicality or personality. With my background in Fashion Buying and Design, I knew it didn’t have to be that way.
Atolla was born from that realisation - from years of understanding what wasn’t working and a belief that swimwear should feel effortless, uplifting and beautiful on every body. I wanted to create pieces that didn’t just fit, but made women feel seen. Swimwear that supports without compromise, moves with you, and carries that easy, sunshine‑ready confidence we all crave on holiday.
The name Atolla came from a moment that changed everything. In 2020, our dream beach wedding was cancelled just six days before we were due to fly to the Dominican Republic. Months later, we took a last minute trip to the Maldives, the final flight out of England before another lockdown. Ten days in pure paradise, surrounded by turquoise water and coral reefs, reminded me what freedom, joy and beauty feels like. The island we stayed on was in the South Ari Atoll - and that’s where the name Atolla has come from.
Every piece is inspired by that island: textured fabrics that echo coral, sands, natural beading and hardware that catch the light like sea glass, and silhouettes designed to take you from beach to bar with confidence. Atolla Swim is more than a brand - it’s a celebration of women who deserve swimwear that fits beautifully, feels luxurious, and tells a story of sunshine, strength and self‑belief.
